Distinctive scale ended up being the detail that made the console area feel finished. The drop feels clean over the living area, and the shade directs light without closing off the view.

Deliberate silhouette keeps the design feeling more layered rather than overly decorative. Once the height was set, the proportions felt inviting and the light landed where I wanted it. Setup was manageable, and the stone-like surface lined up nicely without much fuss in the hallway.
