Well-judged silhouette looks better in person than I expected and gives the open area a less bare focal point. The outline stays matte from the side and adds detail without making the wall look busy.

Better balanced and subtle, the wall profile changed the feel of the bedroom more than I expected. The side profile stays proportional, and the fixture sits close enough to the wall to feel tidy in the bedside setup.
