Quietly-luxurious surface finish brings enough personality to the dining area without making the arrangement feel fussy. The wall placement looks more layered without taking up any surface space, which is exactly what I wanted here.

More styled and smooth, the light spread changed the feel of the open area more than I expected. The side profile stays visually calm, and the fixture sits close enough to the wall to feel tidy in the open area.
