Visually calmer and clean-lined, the scale changed the feel of the foyer more than I expected.

Warmer and cohesive, the material contrast changed the feel of the kitchen corner more than I expected. It reads as a decorative accent even when switched off, which makes the family room feel more more elevated.

Understated creamy stone tone looks especially good in mixed room light, where the whole piece feels more relaxed. The footprint fits easily on a side table, and the base-to-shade balance feels finely-detailed rather than top-heavy. After a few days, the creamy stone tone still feels convincing and easy to live with in the bedroom.
