Elegant in daylight, the fixture scale has a smooth look that works well with the rest of the reading corner. Once the height was set, the proportions felt cleaner and the light landed where I wanted it. With a lower-output bulb, the material contrast gives off a soft glow that works well in the room.

Deliberate overall scale keeps the design feeling visually calmer rather than overly decorative. The hanging profile is low-key from different angles and works well at both daytime and evening light levels.

Polished without looking overdone, the shade shape gives the nightstand area a noticeably room-friendly finish. The drop feels comfortable over the wall, and the shade directs light without closing off the view.
