Softly-detailed natural veining looks better in person than I expected and gives the stair landing a warmer focal point. The proportions are easy to place, and the piece adds interest without dominating the small corner.

Cohesive shape is what caught my eye first, and it makes the side table feel more dimensional. The overall scale feels balanced, and the light adds a comfortable layer to the reading corner.
