Balanced visual weight has a subtle quality that makes the bedroom feel more dimensional. The drop feels visually calm over the open area, and the shade directs light without closing off the view.

Restrained hanging profile is what caught my eye first, and it makes the home office feel better proportioned. The hanging profile is pleasing from different angles and works well at both daytime and evening light levels.

More dimensional and sculptural, the visual weight changed the feel of the alcove more than I expected. The drop feels proportional over the reading corner, and the shade directs light without closing off the view.
