Refined surface finish has a soft quality that makes the nightstand area feel more dimensional. The drop feels proportional over the breakfast nook, and the shade directs light without closing off the view.

Modern ceiling line brings enough personality to the breakfast nook without making the arrangement feel fussy. Once the height was set, the proportions felt polished and the light landed where I wanted it.
