Glass Shade
The Marie Petite is a brass wall sconce built around a single white frosted glass orb that sits at the end of a curved aged-brass arm above a small dome shade. The orb is the fixture's primary element: when lit, it glows from within, the G9 source diffused through the glass into a warm ambient pool. The proportions are deliberately small and considered — D 25.5 × H 26 cm — suited to bedside positions, reading nooks, and vanity flanking where a compact, jewel-like accent is the intention.
Three aged-brass body finishes — antique brass, black, and nickel — each read differently against the white orb. The body finish is selected at checkout.

Installation
- Hardwired wall installation — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Fits a standard single-gang wall box. All mounting hardware is included.
- Dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 LED bulb and a TRIAC-compatible dimmer switch (e.g. Lutron Skylark, Leviton Decora).
Bulb not included. Requires a G9 bi-pin LED capsule at 2700K warm white, 3–4W. A frosted or opal G9 capsule produces the most even glow through the glass. Avoid cool-white bulbs (4000K+) which diminish the warm character of the brass and the glow of the orb. Specify “dimmable” when purchasing if dimming is required.

Antique Brass is the most period-appropriate — the aged warm-gold tone pairs naturally with the white glass orb and suits classical, transitional, and warm-neutral interiors. Black creates a stronger contrast against the white orb — the fixture reads as more graphic and contemporary, suiting darker palettes and bold interior schemes. Nickel is cooler and more refined — the contemporary metal tone works well in minimalist and modern spaces where warm brass would feel too traditional.

The Marie Petite is well-proportioned for flanking — two units installed symmetrically on either side of a bathroom vanity mirror, a fireplace, or a bed create a composed, jewel-like frame.
