A sculptural Koi-form chandelier — hand-built from a wooden skeletal frame layered with overlapping wood-skin scales, finished with strips of wood at fins and tail. Each piece is constructed by hand in the language of biomorphic Japandi and wabi-sabi sculptural lighting.
Koi (Japanese ornamental carp) are an enduring motif in Pacific Rim and Japanese decorative arts. Available in five sizes — from a 59-inch piece for dining rooms to a near-10-foot estate-scale piece for hotel lobbies.

Hand-built sculptural piece. Each Koi is constructed by hand, scale by scale — minor variation in scale alignment, wood tone, and fin geometry is the inherent character of handwork. No two pieces are identical.
X-Large and XX-Large versions — estate-scale fixtures, reinforced ceiling support required. The 98″ and 118″ versions are substantial sculptural pieces; weight far exceeds standard junction-box rating. Your electrician and structural engineer must confirm joist support and install a heavy-duty fixture brace before installation. Contact us for confirmed weight and freight logistics.
