Unfussy drop length gives the piece a distinct character that is easy to work into the family room. In the dining nook, the visual weight reads as graceful rather than heavy, especially under mixed room light.

Elegant ceiling line ended up being the detail that made the reading corner feel pulled together. The silhouette has a matte finish that looks thoughtfully-scaled beside wood tones in the bedside setup.
