Subtle brass-toned surface feels well considered in person and gives the wall an intentional finish. The backplate and shade proportions look elegant together, especially in a narrower living area. Setup was manageable, and the light spread lined up without any awkward gaps without much fuss in the bedroom.

Subdued metal finish ended up being the detail that made the living area feel more complete. The side profile stays easy on the eye, and the fixture sits close enough to the wall to feel tidy in the family room.
