A traditional French Empire-style chandelier built around three suspension chains descending from a chain canopy to a central crown ring decorated with cast acanthus cresting. From the lower bowl — itself ornamented with classical scrollwork — six or eight candelabra arms extend outward, each holding a flame-tip socket above an acanthus-cast bobeche.

Available in two finish combinations: full warm brass, or brass with a black contrasting bowl that emphasizes the gilt scrollwork against the dark recessed field. Suited to formal dining rooms, traditional living rooms, grand entrance halls, and high-ceiling foyers in French-classical, neoclassical, or transitional interiors.

Heavy fixture — confirm junction box rating. Cast brass with aluminum bowl makes this a substantial chandelier, particularly the 8-arm version. Confirm with a licensed electrician that your ceiling junction box and structural support are rated for the load before installation. Standard residential boxes typically support up to 50 lb; for heavier installations a fan-rated or reinforced box may be required. Contact us for precise weight specs if needed for your installer.

The 6-arm (75 cm wide) is for standard dining rooms (8-10 ft tables) and traditional living rooms with 9 ft+ ceilings. The 8-arm (83 cm wide) is a statement piece scaled to grand foyers, double-height entrance halls, formal dining rooms with 12-person+ tables, or any room with 10 ft+ ceilings where the fixture needs presence to balance the architecture.

The Full Brass version is all warm cast brass — classical, unified, pairs with traditional palettes and gilt-frame artwork. The Brass + Black Bowl version replaces the central bowl with black aluminum, creating dramatic contrast that emphasizes the cast scrollwork against the dark recessed field. Choose Full Brass for classical traditional interiors; choose Brass + Black for transitional or French-modern palettes where you want more graphic contrast.

Each arm takes one E12 (North America) or E14 (EU/UK/AU) candelabra base bulb — the smaller chandelier socket, not standard E26/E27. Up to 25W per socket. We recommend warm white (3000K) LED candelabra bulbs in flame-tip shape for the most period-appropriate glow. The 6-arm version produces ~150W equivalent light output; the 8-arm produces ~200W equivalent. Bulbs included.

The standard mount is for flat ceilings using the included chain-and-canopy assembly. For sloped ceilings, a sloped-ceiling adapter is typically needed (sold separately by hardware suppliers). The chain-suspended structure adapts well to moderate slopes once an adapter is installed.

The fixture itself doesn't dim, but it becomes fully dimmable when paired with dimmable LED candelabra bulbs and a standard TRIAC wall dimmer (both sold separately). Dimming this style of chandelier creates a particularly atmospheric effect — flame-tip bulbs at 30-40% brightness produce a candlelit warmth that suits formal dining settings.
